Vehicle listings and pricing

Listings describe vehicles we hold or expect to hold. Availability, specification and price may change without notice, and a vehicle may be sold between the time a listing is published and the time you see it.

As required of registered dealers in Ontario, an advertised price is an all-in price: it includes every fee and charge we require you to pay to buy the vehicle, other than HST and licensing. We do not add administration, documentation or preparation fees on top of an advertised price.

We take care over listings, but errors happen. Where a price or specification is obviously wrong, we reserve the right to correct it and to decline to sell at the incorrect price. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance; a binding contract arises only when you and we sign a bill of sale.

Vehicle information and history

Mileage, specification, options and condition are stated to the best of our knowledge and, where applicable, on the basis of the odometer reading and the vehicle history report available to us. Photographs are of the actual vehicle unless clearly identified as illustrative.

We will disclose to you, in writing and before you commit to a purchase, the matters a registered dealer is required to disclose about a vehicle's history and condition.

If a particular detail matters to your decision, please confirm it with an advisor before travelling to the showroom or placing a deposit.

Enquiries and financing applications

Submitting an enquiry or financing request through this site does not create any obligation on either side. It is a request for us to contact you.

All financing is subject to approval by a third-party lender. Any rate, term or monthly figure quoted before approval is an estimate. The binding terms are those in the credit agreement you sign, which will state the annual percentage rate, the term, and the total cost of borrowing. We are not the lender, and approval is the lender's decision, not ours.

Trade-in appraisals

An appraisal of your vehicle is an offer to purchase it, valid for the period stated at the time, and conditional on the vehicle being in the condition presented at appraisal and on your having good title to it.

If finance is outstanding on the vehicle, the appraisal is further conditional on the payout figure supplied by your lender.

Deposits and test drives

Where we take a deposit to hold a vehicle, the terms on which it is held and the circumstances in which it is refundable will be set out in writing at the time. Please read them before paying.

To take a test drive you must hold a valid Ontario driver's licence, or an equivalent licence valid in Ontario, and produce it beforehand. We may decline a test drive at our discretion.

Your use of this site

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, republish or systematically extract our listings, photographs or descriptions, nor use the site in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.

All content on this site, including text, photographs and the CanWheels name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law.

Where we link to a third-party website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at every moment.

To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario), the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act, 2002, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement, and nothing here affects the protections available to you through OMVIC.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may amend these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
